Who we are
Ovied Digital Solutions is a digital studio based in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us at contact@ovied.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through our two forms.
- The contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
- The project brief: your name, email address, the project type and details you describe, features you tick, your timeframe, your preferred way to be contacted, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, business name and existing website address.
We do not ask for payment details, and we do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your information to reply to you and, if you ask for a quote, to prepare one. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have sent us, and, where you ask us to take steps before a contract, the steps needed to do so. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are saved in our private database, which is not accessible from the internet, and sent to our email inbox so we can reply. You also receive a short automatic confirmation by email. Only we can read your enquiry. If we later move enquiries into another system, we will update this notice first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to a project for up to 12 months, then delete them. If we work together, we keep project records for as long as needed to support the work and meet our legal and accounting duties.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, called OVIEDSESSID. It protects our forms against misuse, and it is strictly necessary for them to work. It does not track you and it is removed when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, we do not need to ask for consent.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads. Their handling of that request is described in Google's own privacy information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it. You can also object to our use of it. To do any of these, email contact@ovied.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top.
